Settings overview

What each part of the Settings menu does, which settings you can change yourself, and which to leave to your consultant.

4 min read

Settings is where an agency like Atlas Emlak manages its Squaremeters account: team, permissions, phone numbers, custom fields, tags and the activity history. This page explains every menu item in one line, points you to the detailed article and, most importantly, shows which settings you can change freely and which ones affect how the AI voice assistant works.

Note

Most Settings pages are only visible to users with the Admin role. If you can't see a menu item, ask your office manager (usually the broker) for access. See Roles and permissions.

How the Settings menu is organised

Click Settings at the bottom of the main menu and a sub-menu with three groups opens next to it. It stays on the left whichever settings page you're on.

The Settings sub-menu has three groups: My Business, Business Services and Other Settings.
  1. My Business — your agency, your own profile, your plan, your team and your pipelines.
  2. Business Services — calendars, AI assistants, email, phone and WhatsApp.
  3. Other Settings — custom fields, custom values, tags, scoring, domains, integrations and the activity history.

First, know this: the assistant depends on these settings

When a call ends, the assistant writes what it learned into the CRM using your settings: the right custom fields, tags with the right names, the opportunity in the right pipeline stage. Automations also work by looking at these names. That's why some settings are "free to change" and others need care.

Heads up

Phone numbers, pipeline stage names, the custom fields the assistant writes to and the tags it adds were connected to the assistant and your automations during setup. Tell your consultant first before changing or deleting any of them; otherwise the assistant may write information to the wrong place or automations may stop.

Suggested order for your first week

Our team handles setup, but a few settings are in your hands and should be done in the first week:

  1. In My Profile, check your name and photo and switch on two-factor authentication.
  2. In My Staff, add your team and set their roles.
  3. If agents should only see their own clients, switch on Only Assigned Data.
  4. In Business Profile, confirm the time zone is Europe/Istanbul.
