Testing and tuning

How to test the assistant before and after going live, and how to get what you notice fixed.

3 min read

Our team tests the assistant with you before it goes live. But what really shapes it to your office is the real calls in the first few weeks. This article covers how to test, what to look for, and who fixes what.

What's the service charge on the Moda 3+1?

The Test Audio panel in the assistant's settings; or call your office number from your own phone.

There are two ways:

  1. Test in the panel: open the assistant's settings (AI Agents → Voice AI → Agent List → the assistant). Talk to the assistant in your browser from the Test Audio panel on the right. You'll need to allow microphone access.
  2. A real call: call your office number from your own mobile. This also tests forwarding, the pick-up delay and audio quality.

Tip

When you test from your own number, a contact and opportunity are created in your name in the CRM. Delete them afterwards or tag them test so they don't inflate your reports.

Test scenarios

Buyer: clear budget, area, urgentSeller: “what's my flat worth?”Tenant with a petEnglish-speaking foreign buyerAfter-hours call“Are you a robot?”Caller who insists on an agentInterruptions, silence, noise
Scenarios to try before and after going live.

Role-play real callers as an office. Let Deniz Acar play a buyer and Emre Yılmaz a seller. Try these scenarios:

  • An urgent buyer with a clear budget and area: does it book an appointment?
  • A seller asking "what's my flat worth?": does it offer a valuation without giving a price?
  • A tenant with a pet: does it collect what the landlord will ask?
  • An English-speaking foreign buyer: does it switch to English?
  • An after-hours call: is the greeting right?
  • "Are you a robot?": does it answer honestly?
  • A caller who insists on an agent: does the transfer work, and does the agent hear the summary?
  • Interruptions, silence, background noise: does it stop when you cut in?

After each test, check the contact record, the opportunity and the calendar: did the details go to the right place?

Sample test:

Deniz (playing the caller): What's the service charge on the Moda 3+1?

Elif: Four thousand five hundred lira a month. Heating is a gas combi boiler. Anything else you'd like to know?

Deniz: Is there covered parking?

Elif: Yes, one space. Would you like to see it?

If the service charge actually dropped to 4,200 ₺ last month but the assistant still says 4,500 ₺, the listing file in the assistant is out of date. Note it and pass it on to your consultant.

When you message your consultant, give the date of the call and the contact, and quote the line from the transcript if you can. Instead of "the assistant sounds odd sometimes", write "Tuesday 14:05, call with Mert Özkan: asked the budget twice".

A routine for the first weeks

  1. Week one: listen to 3–5 calls a day. Do a short review with your consultant at the end of the week.
  2. Weeks two to four: 5–10 calls a week. Look especially at hot leads that didn't turn into appointments.
  3. After that: a monthly review, and an update every time your portfolio changes.

Note

Always make a test call after changing the assistant's settings. Even a small change to the greeting affects how the conversation starts.
