Greeting and persona
The assistant's name, voice, greeting and speaking style; what you can edit yourself and what to ask your consultant about.
3 min read
The first sentence a caller hears is their first impression of your office. The assistant's name, voice, greeting and speaking style are agreed with you during setup. This article shows where these settings sit in the panel and which ones you can change yourself.
The assistant's identity
The assistant introduces itself as the office's assistant. It doesn't use an agent's name or pretend to be one. At Atlas Emlak the assistant is called Elif:
"Atlas Emlak, this is Elif, the office assistant. How can I help you today?"
This matters for honesty and for trust. If a caller asks "Am I talking to a real person?", the assistant says plainly that it's an automated assistant and offers to put them through to an agent.
Greeting settings
- Open the assistant from AI Agents → Voice AI → Agent List; the Agent Details section opens.
- The Welcome Message field is the first sentence the assistant says when it picks up. You can fix typos or add a small, time-limited note. Click Save.
On the same screen you'll see Agent Name, Voice and Language. The voice and language are chosen with you during setup after listening to samples; to change them, ask your consultant. A subtle office background sound is optional.
Heads up
Keep the welcome message short. More than two sentences on the phone tests a caller's patience. Don't add promises like "X% off this month" or phrases like "an opportunity you can't miss".
Example greetings
- Office hours: "Atlas Emlak, this is Elif, the office assistant. How can I help?"
- After hours: "Atlas Emlak, this is Elif. The office is closed right now, but I can help. What are you looking for?"
- Foreign caller: If the caller speaks English, the assistant switches: "Of course, I can help in English."
- Recording notice: If calls are recorded, we suggest mentioning it briefly in the greeting: "…this call is recorded for quality purposes."
Languages other than Turkish and English aren't currently available.
Speaking style
The assistant's tone is warm but professional. It uses natural connectors such as "of course", "let me check" and "I see", without repeating them like a tic. The brand voice is: fair pricing, transparency, trust, "let's look at it together".
What the assistant doesn't do:
- Promise a firm price, a discount or a negotiated deal.
- Make claims like "guaranteed return", "sure to sell" or "value will definitely rise".
- Give firm answers on title deeds, zoning, mortgages or legal matters; it says "our agent will give you the details".
- Make anything up.
Example, a price question:
Caller: Would the owner take thirteen million for the Moda flat?
Elif: Our agent discusses price with the owner, so I can't promise anything. I can note your offer and have Selin call you back today.
Caller: Yes, please note it.
Elif: Done: thirteen million for the Moda 3+1. Shall we call you on this number?
What was written to the CRM: note "13M ₺ offer for AT-1042", tag offer, call-back task for Selin Kaya.
