Connecting Google Business Profile
Connect your Google Business Profile to see and reply to Google reviews in the panel, and route calls from your profile to the assistant.

Vendors and buyers read your Google reviews before they contact an agency, and a search for "estate agent Kadıköy" often starts with your profile on the map. Once Google Business Profile is connected, you see new reviews in the panel and reply there. If the phone number on your profile is forwarded to the assistant, it answers those calls 24/7 too.

Note
As there's no chat button on profiles any more, add your WhatsApp link (wa.me/…) and website to your profile for written enquiries. Written enquiries from Google then reach your panel via WhatsApp.
Before you start
- Your Google Business Profile must be verified.
- The Google account connecting must be an Owner or Manager of the profile.
- If you have several branches (e.g. Kadıköy and Ataşehir), each is a separate location on Google.
Connecting step by step
- Open Settings → Integrations.
- Click Connect on the Google Business Profile card.
- In the Google window, choose the account that is Owner/Manager of the profile and approve all requested permissions.
- Choose the location to connect.
- Click Save. The card shows a Connected badge.
Replying to reviews from the panel
New Google reviews after the connection appear in Conversations with the Google icon. Your reply is published publicly on Google.
- Reply to every review, even positive ones, briefly and personally: "So glad Selin helped you find your home in Moda."
- Reply to negative reviews constructively, not defensively, and take the details to a private channel: "Please message us on WhatsApp and Burak will look into it straight away."
- Never share the client's address, the price they paid or contract details in a reply.
Important
Bulk review request campaigns and the reputation management module aren't available to users on your plan. If you'd like to ask clients for reviews automatically after a completion, message your consultant.
Calls from your profile
Make sure the phone number on your profile is your office line and that the line is forwarded to Squaremeters. A buyer calling from the map is then greeted by the assistant out of hours too, and the call shows in Call reporting with the "Google Business Profile" source. Example: Lukas Becker finds your agency on Google Maps on Sunday evening and calls the number on your profile. Elif answers in English, learns he's looking for a 2-bed in Ataşehir and books an office meeting for Monday at 11:00.
Common issues
The location list is empty. Your Google account isn't an Owner/Manager of the profile, or the profile isn't verified.
Older reviews didn't come in. The connection mainly brings in later reviews. You can reply to older ones on Google.
The connection dropped after a few weeks. It ends when the Google account's password changes or its access is removed. Open the card and reconnect.
