Customise widgets
Add widgets to your dashboard, choose chart type and conditions, and move, resize, duplicate or delete them.

Widgets are the individual metrics on the Dashboard. Every agency cares about different numbers: opportunities from the assistant, valuation appointments, or the share of clients who don't turn up to viewings. This article covers adding widgets, giving them conditions and arranging the layout.
Before you start
- You need Edit or Full access to the dashboard. The shared office dashboard is usually edited by a manager only; you can create your own and edit it freely. See Custom dashboards.
- Changes aren't visible to others until you click Save Changes.
Add a widget
- Click the pencil icon at the top right to put the dashboard into edit mode. Widget borders turn dashed.
- Click + Add Widget. The widget list opens on the right.
- Use the filters at the top to pick a chart type (Numeric, Donut, Line, Bar, Horizontal Bar, Table) and choose a widget from the list. Widgets are grouped by data type, such as Calls, Appointments, Opportunities, Contacts and Conversations. You can use the search box.
When you pick a widget, its settings window opens:
- Give the widget a clear title and change the chart type if needed. For example "Opportunities from the assistant".
- On the Conditions tab, add a condition: pick the first one with Add Filter (for example Pipeline is Buyers). Use + AND for another condition in the same group, or + Add Filter again for an alternative (OR) group.
- Click Save to add the widget to the dashboard.
- When you're done, click Save Changes at the top right.
Tip
Conditions are per widget. Put "All opportunities" and "Opportunities from the assistant" side by side on the same dashboard to see the assistant's share.
Widget ideas for an estate agency
| Widget | Chart | Condition |
|---|---|---|
| Opportunities from the assistant | Numeric | Source = Inbound call · AI |
| Hot leads | Numeric | Tag = hot-lead |
| Valuations this week | Numeric | Appointments, calendar = Valuations |
| Viewing no-shows | Donut | Appointments by Status, calendar = Viewings |
| Buyers – by stage | Bar | Pipeline = Buyers |
| Appointments by agent | Horizontal Bar | Appointments, by user |
| Lost reasons | Donut | Status = Lost |
The widget list and source names may differ for your account. If you can't find a metric, message your consultant.
Which chart type?
| Chart | Best for |
|---|---|
| Numeric | One number and its change on the previous period |
| Donut | Parts of a whole (lead sources) |
| Line | A trend over time (calls per week) |
| Bar / Horizontal Bar | Comparing categories (stages, agents) |
| Table | A list of records (today's appointments) |
Move, resize, duplicate and delete
- Grab the handle to the left of the widget title and drag it to its new place.
- Drag the bottom-right corner to resize it.
- Use the three dots menu at the top right for Edit, Duplicate or Delete.
- Click Save Changes. To back out, click Cancel; the dashboard returns to its last saved state.
Heads up
If you delete a widget on a shared dashboard, it's deleted for everyone who sees it. Rather than experimenting on the shared office dashboard, clone it first and work on the copy.
Example: an agent's dashboard
A simple dashboard for Selin Kaya:
- Numeric: "My hot leads" (Tag =
hot-lead, Assigned User = Selin Kaya) - Numeric: "My viewings today" (Appointments, calendar = Viewings, user = Selin Kaya)
- Bar: "My deals – by stage" (Pipeline = Buyers, Owner = Selin Kaya)
- Table: "My clients at offer stage"
Good practice
- Keep a dashboard to 8–10 widgets at most. Too many charts hide the number that matters.
- Put the most important metric top left.
- Say the condition in the title ("Buyers – from the assistant"). Untitled widgets get misread over time.
- For sales figures, pick the widget's date property carefully. See Date ranges and filters.
Troubleshooting
I can't see the Add Widget button. The dashboard isn't in edit mode, or you only have View access.
A widget shows "No data". The conditions may be too narrow; try removing them one by one. Check the date range too.
My changes disappeared. If you left without clicking Save Changes, nothing was saved.
