Date ranges and filters
Use the date range, quick filters and the date property to see Dashboard figures for the right period and the right agent.

The same widget can show very different numbers depending on the date range and filters you choose. The right answer to "how many sales did we complete this month?" depends on picking the right range and the right date property.
Change the date range
- Click the date field at the top right of the Dashboard.
- Pick a preset from the list on the left (Today, Last 7 Days, This Month, Last Month and so on), or click start and end days on the calendar for a custom range.
- Click Apply. Every widget on the dashboard refreshes for the selected range.
Tip
Compare ranges of equal length. Comparing "This Month" on the 10th with a 30-day "Last Month" is misleading; compare "Last 7 Days" with the 7 days before instead.
Quick filters and date property
- Click Quick Filters at the top of the dashboard.
- Add filters; they appear as pills. For example Assigned User: Selin Kaya, Pipeline: Buyers. Click the arrow on a pill to change it.
- Click Clear to remove all filters.
- On some widgets (especially opportunity widgets) you can choose which date property to count by: Created On, Status Change or Updated On.
Quick filters don't change the dashboard permanently; they only narrow your current view. For a permanent filter, use the widget's own Conditions: Customise widgets.
Why the date property matters
Ahmet Demir called the assistant late at night on 18 September; his opportunity was created that day. The viewings happened in October, completion was on 22 October and the opportunity was marked Won. In a "Deals completed in October" widget, Ahmet:
| Date property | Shows up in October? | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Created On | No (created in September) | To measure how many new enquiries came in. |
| Status Change | Yes (Won in October) | To measure how many deals closed. |
| Updated On | Yes (updated in October) | To see which opportunities were worked on. |
Important
For "how many sales did we complete this month?", use Status Change. With Created On, clients who called last month and completed this month don't count, and completions look lower than they are. In property, weeks or months often pass between the first call and completion, so the difference is big.
Time zone
Figures are calculated in the dashboard's time zone. Because the assistant also answers calls close to midnight, a call at 23:50 can be counted on the wrong day if the dashboard is in another time zone. Set the dashboard to Europe/Istanbul with Manage dashboard timezone in the action menu. See Custom dashboards.
Example scenarios
- Weekly team meeting: Last 7 Days; use Quick Filters to pick each Assigned User in turn and show their figures.
- Ad campaign review: choose the campaign's start and end dates as a custom range and check the share of Meta lead forms in the lead sources widget. For detail, see Facebook ads report.
- Month-end close report: Last Month + Status Change on opportunity widgets.
Troubleshooting
Dashboard and Reporting show different numbers. The date range, date property or time zone may differ between the two screens. Make all three the same and compare again.
I removed the filter but the number didn't change. The widget may have a permanent condition in its own Conditions. Open it in edit mode and check.
